Development of direct partnerships and collaborative projects between universities, academic institutions and organizations in developing countries and developed countries. Collaboration within regions as well. Sustainability must be considered in the plan.

Stop shoplifting of medical equipment

Medical equipment and supplies "walk away" from health care facilities and are resold on the private market. Can we embed RFID tags on them/in them to prevent theft, like in retail stores in the U.S.? The tags would have to survive autoclaves for some equipment, and the sensors would have to work even with power interruptions.
